Thomas “Tom” R. Williams, age 61, of Mechanicsburg passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at West Shore Hospital. Born October 17, 1954 in Pittsburgh, PA he was a son of the late Ralph E. and Dorothy (Diener) Williams.

Tom was a heavy equipment operator for Hampton Construction. He was a high school and college athlete. Tom played football at Midland College, Nebraska and Edinboro University. Tom loved fishing, golfing, high school and college wrestling, and was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan. He bled black and gold. He was a member of The Mechanicsburg Club since 1983.

Tom is survived by his loving wife Maureen (Ford) Williams; two brothers, Ralph E. Williams, III and wife Beth and Carlton H. Williams all of Mechanicsburg. He is also survived by nephews, Jonathan L Williams of Ocean City, MD, Ryan M Williams of Virginia Beach, VA and a niece, Kristen E Williams of Wellington, New Zealand.
