Alan was a good friend during high school and my early college years.  He was a truly funny guy with a great sense of humor.  Alan and I kept in contact after high school and he and I had some knock down, drag out ping pong games at the Duquesne University Student union (good days).  We also did a couple of camping trips to West Virginia which were always amusing.   Lost contact with Alan during my military service and just recently tried to reconnect with him.  My condolences to his family.   Alan - Appreciated the time we had together.  Thanks buddy.
