Richard was a friend from childhood.   We met as children in church.  He was always a gentleman and protector during some of the more turbulent times in school.   But he was always the same person - always smiling, positive and upbeat.  He's certainly earned his place in Glory and we will meet again.  Richard is sorely missed by all who knew him.  His wife, Debbie, is a sweet, gentle and caring woman and has a most handsome son that will no doubt carry on Richard's legacy.  His daughter, Theresa is my God child and along with her son, Darnell, will also keep us reminded of Richard.  May God bless him and all the others we lost along the way.

Richard was a good guy, very 'cool' and humorous. We played Bball together and he always smoked my ass :)  We had similar musical tastes and compared musical 'notes.'

Back in '68-69, during the riots and periods of racial friction, Richard was unfazed and did not let it affect his outlook. He remained.......Richard. We used to call him "Foxy."

Rest in peace Richard.
