I moved to Pittsburgh in August of 1970. Dan adopted me almost immediately, we became brothers. I remember the long talks we had about life and the meaning of it all. The pain of a life lost so early has stuck with me all these years. I have thought of Dan often and still miss him! God bless you Dan, I just know when I see you again, you'll be puffing on that pipe of yours, trying to find the good in all things.
I too think of Dan often, Alan and I would hang at his house from time to time. I only got to know him a few months before he died, but his memory is constantly with me. And that dog !!!!
